1. Identify Your Private Insurance Provider
Unlike Original Medicare, Part D is run by private companies (like AARP, Humana, or SilverScript). Check your prescription drug card to identify your provider.
2. Navigate to the Provider's Member Portal
You must log in to your specific provider's website. Medicare.gov only provides a high-level overview of the plan you selected.
3. Use Your Member ID to Register
If this is your first time, you will need the member ID and Group Number located on the front of your Part D insurance card to create an online account.
